"Hyper-Real"

Was looking at some of my old notebooks from years ago and came across something i scribbled on a page. This would be something that i will definitely revisit.

In a state of shock
panicking
fidgeting
commercials controlling our every move
too much hyper-real
don't know what's really real
the knowledge that something is not right
yet we stay drugged by mass media and don't know
the difference between the real and the hyper-real
so we look for ways
to console us by consuming everything they feed us
there is nothing else to do but give in
there is no way that you can win
just give in
accept it
